Implementation of environmental innovation in the technological process at STALKO

Project implemented under the National Reconstruction and Resilience Plan

Project Description
The company STALKO is implementing a project co-financed by the National Reconstruction and Economic Resilience Plan (KPO), under measure A2.2.1, which involves the implementation of a modern line for automatic decoiling and laser cutting of sheet metal from coils.

The investment aims to increase production efficiency, reduce operating costs, and optimize raw material consumption. The new technology allows for full automation of the developing, leveling, and cutting processes, which significantly reduces waste and improves product quality and consistency. Thanks to the precise CNC system, material losses are limited, and energy consumption and CO₂ emissions are reduced.

The investment aligns with the principles of the circular economy (CE) and the National Smart Specialization (NSS No. 7), supporting the „zero waste” idea and promoting modern, ecological technologies in industry.

Project carried out within the framework of European Funds for Smart Development
Project Description

STALKO sp. z o.o. sp.k. is implementing a project co-financed by the European Union under the European Funds for a Modern Economy (FENG) program, priority area: Support for Entrepreneurs, action: SMART Path. The project involves the development and execution of a prototype for an innovative, ecological room heater utilizing INFERNO technology.
The goal of the investment is to create a modern freestanding biomass-powered fireplace that, thanks to an proprietary aeration system and new heat accumulation materials, will achieve an energy efficiency of 90%. The new technology will allow for a drastic reduction in dust emissions (to a level of max. 10 mg/m³), which constitutes a reduction of 75% compared to current market requirements.
The investment introduces product innovation on an international scale, promoting low-emission solutions and efficient use of renewable fuels. Through the application of universal design principles, the project outcomes (including research equipment and documentation) will be fully accessible to people with disabilities.
