– Implementation of an environmental innovation in the technological process at STALKO

Project implemented under the National Plan for Reconstruction and Resilience Enhancement

Project description
STALKO is implementing a project co-financed by the National Plan for Reconstruction and Increasing Resilience (NIP), under Measure A2.2.1, involving the implementation of a modern line for automatic unwinding and laser cutting of sheet metal from coil.

The aim of the investment is to increase production efficiency, reduce operating costs and optimize raw material consumption. The new technology allows full automation of the unwinding, leveling and cutting processes, which significantly reduces waste and improves product quality and repeatability. Thanks to the precision CNC system, material losses are reduced, and energy consumption and CO₂ emissions are reduced.

The investment is in line with the principles of the closed-loop economy (GOZ) and the National Intelligent Specialization (NIS No. 7), supporting the idea of “zero waste” and promoting modern, green technologies in industry.
